Meet Drea, Owner of DreaCakesNYC

 

Hi!! Drea here! I am the owner, baker, decorator, and customer service rep (LOL) behind DreaCakesNYC. I'm born and raised in Queens, NYC. Therefore, its my pleasure to serve my city, the tristate, and the capital region on New York.

My baking adventures began "by accident" in 2012. It was my nephews first birthday and my mom fell ill a few days before and couldn't make his cake. So I decided, the day before ,I was going to do it! 5 youtube video and 14 hours later I created something that kind of resembled a 3 tier cake. Who would have known that 8 years later I would still be in the cake industry.

 I'm self taught but I love learning from other bakers. Caking has taken me across 3 continents including Africa and the Europe. I've had opportunities of being taught by THE BEST in the industry. Creating these custom works of art has been the best thing that has happened to me!
